RARE Mustang Fastback RestoMod with GT Trim Package

MUSTANG... Just the word alone gets every car enthusiast's heart pumping! As a matter of fact, most everyone knows what Mustang means. It means power... performance... muscle... It means awesome. This 1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback is all that and more!

The subject of a complete restoration completed in 2011, this Mustang is a proven winner and has placed, if not won, virtually every show entered. The Candy Red Fastback body and GT appearance package make this a unique and special Mustang.

Inside, you'll find the desirable "Pony" interior with floor console and deluxe trim. The red and white interior is somewhat lost on cars of today, but when seen in the context of this car, it is truly perfect. The center console adds just the right amount of chrome and class to this beautiful interior, while the wood paneling on the dash provides a touch of elegance. From the quality wood steering wheel to the ice cold Vintage Air, this car has a lot going for it.

The exterior of this car is really impressive as well. Finished in Ford Candy Red base / clear with white stripes, this car comes alive in the sun. We all know that Fastbacks are the definition of cool. And if you don't believe us, take a look at this car. The fastback gives this car something just a little extra to help set her apart from the rest. It's a unique design that helps makes this Mustang all the more special.

She's powered by a performance upgraded 289 V8 with automatic transmission and a posi-trac rearend. Under the hood, theres plenty of chrome and braided stainless to make this car stand out. It's truly a marvel to see and hear.

Two of our favorite things here at Art & Speed are Mustangs and winners. Put those two together and you have this very special 1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback. We constantly talk about how much we love our jobs here at Art & Speed, and this Mustang is a prime example of why. Pony cars will never go out of style, both on the show circuit and for the weekend hobbyist. This car is an example of why. Just the right amount of both art…and speed!
