Rotisserie restored Fairlane with V8, Automatic and Continental kit!
The year is 1955. Ray Kroc opens the first franchised McDonald's restaurant in Des Plaines, IL. While modern fast food burger joints and drive-ins quickly sweep the nation, a major automotive styling revolution consumes the big three Detroit automakers. A new era of Americana is born. And nothing represents the beauty and art of this new era more than mid-fifties American automobiles.
Art & Speed is pleased to offer this rotisserie-restored example of the inaugural Ford Fairlane Club Sedan. Finished in the factory correct colors of Regatta Blue and Waterfall Blue, this beautiful color scheme is carried into the pristine tri-color blue interior as well.
Tasteful period accessories include fender skirts, sun visor, and the famous “Continental Kit” make this the perfect boulevard cruiser. High quality chrome and stainless trim are abundant on this beauty.
Climb behind the panoramic/wrap-around windshield, fire up the upgraded 292 Y-Block V8, blip the throttle and listen to the V8 burble through the dual exhaust. Drop the column shifted "Ford-O-Matic" into drive, head to your favorite drive-in burger joint and it's 1955 all over again. This restoration is nice enough to make anyone believe they have traveled back 60 years in time.
